Premium Boards appear against other members?

I have recently upgraded to premium membership :) and have enjoyed choosing my own personalised boards and pieces now that I can...

Perhaps it would be a good idea to allow the non-premium members to see a premium member's own personalised board appearance in a game... "we're playing on my board, since I paid for it myself" maybe this would advertise membership, and also allow the premiums to look cool :)

Of course the latter is my real motive for this suuggestion

LOL. The only thing that can convince me to fork out money would be 'live chess' tournaments. Personally I dont care about the look of board and pieces no matter how cool they are. But hey it's just me - other ppl might have a different opinion.

But non-premium members would most likely be thrown off by switching from board to board to board in different games, particularly if the premium member is using 3D or something odd like that.

No Erik2 - no live tournaments as of yet but they are working on it.

you're right, they do take a little getting used to, especially in high-pressure, timed matches. Premiums could use it as an advantage...

As far as I know, it's on the to-do list. And it's a very long to-do list...
