Clear your private data, close Firefox, open it back up, and login again. Make sure your password is correct before you save it.

Their can be some problems with any browser you use, you're most likely on a Mac? I personally can't stand Macs, but if your not on a macintosh computer switch your browser application to Internet Explorer. One other piece of advice you should keep in mind, never save your password and user name in your browser applications always just remember them, use notepad or excel to save your user names and passwords and save the file to a disk and keep it in a safe place.
however it's hard to take anyone seriously who says things like: "I can't stand macs", or "pc's suck" or whatever...so much hate so litle time...
uninstall firefox-mozilla. thn Re-Install it.

Why is it that most of the time when I log into chess.com my first log in attempt fails but my second one is sucessesful? I'm using firefox and my username and password are "remembered".
