Proud dad!

My little girl is three and a half. Ever since she first saw me studying over a chess board, she wanted to play chess. Before she was three she could already set up the board. I'm now teaching her how the pieces move. 

This morning after breakfast, she sits at the board and says, "Daddy! Play chess with me!". So I sit down and we start going over pawn moves and before I know it she's played a legit opening. After a few moves, she needed to get ready for the day but I had to share this moment with everyone. This is why I love chess. My dad taught me when I was a kid, now I get to teach mine. Love these light hearted moments.
