Resign
Draw
When I read your post, I could not recall seeing either a white flag symbol or a 1/2 symbol during my games. I started a test game just now with the computer, and did not see them there either. Just 5 symbols along the bottom.......flip board--settings--Analyze--download--share......but maybe playing vs the machine has different settings.
Anyway thanks for the help. When I feel like playing real game sometime later today, I'll see if I can find them then. If I can't find the resign button, I guess could always just disconnect and the program would recognize that as leaving the game......at least it does on that other site.

Those options are only in Daily Chess and Live Chess, not the Play vs Computer option. You just stop playing and download the PGN of the game if you want.
What option, if there is one, do you use to select a non-rated game? I'd like to get in some practice, double- check that I do know how to use everything, and get a let more generally comfortable with the site layout.
Go directly to the page for the game type (the header above the quick buttons is the link), don't use the buttons. Once there you can choose Custom Challenge and change it to Unrated.
I think that the site remembers your choice, so games with the buttons will then be unrated, but I'm not certain on that.
I just finished my 3rd game on this site, and during it , I suddenly realized I knew neither how to offer a draw, nor how to resign, if I became lost with lots and lots of left on my clock. It has not come up so far: In game 1 my connection froze somehow, and when the clock unfroze, I was told had timed out and lost the game ( Ugh ! I was just about to get a mate in 4 ! ). Then the last 2 games both my opponents must have resigned.
I'm used to playing on another site and the board layout over ther is completely different.
Which symbol is which, on this board layout? I was afraid to experiment during the game by putting my cursor on top of a button, for fear of accidentally resigning
