112th and I Don't care

Brandy_Cactus

I DON'T LIKE IT

It's boring it clogs up the comments space which could be used for discussing the puzzle

I really don't care if people shout first. Bravo to them if they get it. So long as it doesn't become a flame war, I remain neutral

Get a life you looser. Stop worrying about other peoples posts and go out and meet people. You clearly have too much time on you hands to be sat there analysing who likes to see "First" or not..... oh and 106th by the way

Actually it's quite quick to see who cares or not. I think you don't actually know what analysing means because I'm not analysing anything. I'm just counting and working out percentages - which is easy. Haven't you noticed that it is the summer holidays so I'm not at school which means I obviously have a lot of time on my hands! The only thing you got right was that you are 106th! Well done!

care,,,don't care,,,care,,,care!

Don't worry when people call you a looser, it's usually only losers that call people losers, same goes for people that call others idiots, they have nothing to say or run out of arguments and then quickly try to distract others from themselves but no worries others know but just don't care to mention.

i've posted here before, but i think i haven't made it clear, so let me mix it up a little more:) - i don't care about who's posting what, but i do not like seeing loads of crappy posts as well.

henster97 >> you got more than 10 times views than comments, because people do care, i think they revisit the page to see where is it going, spammers will remain spammers, and quickly can take over of all quality posts by their quantity (with fake acc, notifying friends, and just by screwing around fighting the invisible war about who's best at being 47th). i mean, this site has global community, we live in different time zones, have our own lifes and schedules, and this fight of dumb posts is just a little dull. i prefer seeing clean and clear information instead of mass spam

So if you view and not post you care and.... how is it when you don't care you don't view?

ezhiukas7

i've just expressed my opinion.. for example i myself don't view or read things that i don't care - it would sound a bit strange wouldn't it - one doesn't care, but reads and follows every step.. nonsense :)

ozzie_c_cobblepot

for what it's worth: don't care

Henster97

I myself am going to say I probably care.

yul_brynner

I Care. I wish they wouldn't.

I like to read comments about the puzzle (eg. what move you thought was better, other movement threads, which moves tripped you up, etc.) Saying 'first' or 'easy' doesn't make you cool - it doesn't even make you first - you're just the first person who has nothign to say who decided to say it anyways. As Yul Brynner says in the King and I, "When one does not know what to say, it is a time to be silent."

I've heard the argument, "what else is there to say" as if they have to say something at all times and never take time to listen. A forum by definition is

"1b. A public meeting place for open discussion. 2. A public meeting or presentation involving a discussion usually among experts and often including audience participation."

Discussion involves listening as well as talking. In dialogue, listening and talking is about 1:1. You talk, i listen, and vice versa. In a discussion between more than two people, it involves a LOT more listening than talking. If it doesn't have that, it's no longer a discussion - or a forum for that matter - but merely a room full of idiots trying to shout one another down.
Thanks for listening :)

ps. i would make an exception for sundays since they're throwaway puzzles anyways. Usually nothing to talk about there. If you want to have "first" competitions, feel free to do it there.

Who are we to deny these people their right to feel like they've accomplished something that for them is of significant magnitude even if for us, it is trivial and commonplace?  It's like rolling your eyes at a three year old for being proud of his lego house.  Misplaced elitism.

CoconutTiger
agreed its annoying... But what else can they comment under a puzzle? Where the solution is available!! If they enjoy doing it, So be it.... P.S. I remember myself posting 100th.(i don't do that anymore) my vote-'i don't care'
