Yeah, I get the same thing. You're lucky if they just disconnect, but rarely does someone resign. If I am losing and think I no longer have a chance to win, I will resign and try again in a new game. Instead, most people think of themselves as chess pros and take the mindset that you should be "punished" for beating them. Can't stand it, but what can you do...
(Rant) Sore losers in Live chess

I just pulled that on an opponent persay. Offered him a draw in an obviously drawn position and he refused. Proceeded with the position up till the last couple moves, offered a draw, refused. Alrightio then, burned through nearly 40 moves and then just drew it by default after hitting the draw button.
Probably didn't teach him a thing...but eh, gotta learn somehow.
I'm so sick of settling down to a nice leisurely 30min game, getting into a winning position then having the opponent take progressively longer with their turns. Often they just stop making them. It drives me insane. If one isn't prepared to lose then one shouldn't bloody start a game, right? Who else has experienced/is fed up with this?
And so ends my rant (well, not really. I think I might get banned if I use the words in my head =P )
