Rapid 15/10

As a low rated player on chess.com, I am finding it hard some days/nights to get a Rapid 15/10 game on here. Is that normal? I've tried moving up to 10 min games but I don't feel comfortable with it. I find myself watching the clock instead of playing the board. I have even tried playing higher ranked opponents on 15/10 but most opponents are obviously better and I just get jacked up. Any advice??? And please go beyond the typical infomercial answer of buying a premium account and doing tactics or buying your chess hero's book.

If you can, play the 15|10 tourneys. The longer time controls are the least popular, so you have the potential to wait for a compatible match. You might also widen your allowed rating range, but that may not help a lot.

Try putting out 30 minute rapid challenges. I’ve not had to wait for long when I play.

15 minutes is too fast for my liking.

Playing tournaments and widening my rating range only feeds me to higher ranked opponents that I can't beat.

I have 30 as well. No go. I have seen some open challenges for Daily games but they are too slow for my liking.

I'll play with you a couple of rated games

I'm good. You are well above my ranking so there'd be no real point. But thanks anyway.

Who said anything about being a coward you dumshiit??? Don't try and posture up on me Comrade cuz you'll end up like Bobbitt. Hung like mouse...

Dubhlaoch

So now I see how it works. You try to goad weaker players into playing you so you can pad your stats. That by definition is a coward Comrade.

Dubhlaoch

As I said your philosophy to to play weaker players and pad your stats. Ain't gonna happen Comrade! You're not gonna feed of me but enjoy your block.🙏
