Hey everyone,
Something is rotten in my opponent's rating kingdom... This has happened to me quite a few times : at the beginning of a live game, my opponent's rating is let's say 950 ; at the end of the game, it suddenly drops to 850.
I find it quite offensive to think I'm so bad losing against me costs you a hundred points ! There seems to be a problem with the initial rating. It's not a big deal, except I'm often glad that I have beaten someone above me, only to find out he was as much a loser as I am...
Does anyone know about this issue ?
