Why is my chess.com rating a full 200-300 pts lower than my rating on lichess? This is after very consistent play for about a month. On lichess I have no trouble maintaining 1650-1750. On chess.com I struggle to get to 1400.

chess.com ratings are rigged

That’s normal, it’s just how different rating systems work

The people you’re playing on lichess at 1750 are the same skill as the 1400s on chess.com it’s just that the numbers are different

A new player on chess.com starts with a 1200 rating. A new player on lichess starts with a 1500 rating. That's likely where most of the 300 point difference comes from.

If you are in Canada (looking at the flag beside your username), and you play over-the-board in Canada, expect your rating to be a couple hundred points lower than your chess.com rating.

Incorrect. When you sign up at chess.com, you select Beginner, Advanced etc, I don't remember. So your rating (Rapid) could be 400 or 800 or 1200 or maybe something else. You pick that yourself.

Lichess uses 1500 because that's actual recommendation for Glicko, idk why chess.com ignored that recommendation. Usage of various user-defined starting rating is crazy and introduces lot of inaccuracies and isolated pool problems.

OTB rating if we speak about classical cannot be compared to chess.com ratings because no classical games happen on chess.com. Rapid/Blitz - maybe but only if you play same time controls. Chess.com ratings are inflated on top and deflated and distorted on bottom.
