Zach, how often do you get the annoying messages asking you to upgrade?
as for the limitations on the basic membership... not sure how else you want this site to run its business, but it makes sense to me. we work to continue adding on more and more features and services, clearly we need people to buy memberships to pay for that.

Oh please, what are you complaining about?
I came here from Gameknot, because they locked my account down for nothing more than letting somebody else log onto their account from the same computer, and then had the gall to tell me that the only possible way to have my account unlocked was to PAY THEM for a premium membership.
Now that is a scam site. This site is very nice, and offers a ton of features even to free players.
This site is still better then the rest chess websites

what peed me off was that they took another month membership without me varifing it. i got a month membership for a reason. technically thats stealing! i think chess.com should compansate me!
i think chess.com is a lot better than the other one i tried before.
it has alot even for free... i know that it's a piss off when u got from premium to regular. but this is it.
anyways when i get the time and ability m going premium, coz technically i'm new in here.
p.s. (unrelated) speaking about rip offs, i have a premium in hotfile sharing website, and still got like 6 months, it was great until one day, every file on the net now belongs to filesonice, which is a total piss off coz, now i feel like it's worthless. they did that to rapidshare before. and they will do that always coz most websites are scams.
but i think this one is one of the best sites anyways :) i enjoy my time in here :)

All premium memberships are set to auto renew. If you contact support/billing they can fix this for you.
