Clicking confirm is like hitting the clock. Your time stops, your opponent’s starts, and your opponent begins important calculations.
Take backs mess up time and calculations.
Normally, I would recommend turning on confirm moves, but you already have that. You have no need for takebacks.

How about a recall icon for games longer than 10 minutes ? I too often make a move, click to confirm and then realize within 2 seconds that it was a poor move . There is no way to retrieve it . Have a grace period of 5 seconds in which to click the recall icon .
