Some may have noted Danny Rensch's absence on the Tal Memorial Live Coverage this morning.
Both Rensch and Iryna Zenyuk are playing in the Thanksgiving Open, scheduled to be held November 25-27 the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis. WIM Zenyuk will compete with seven GMs and two IMs where everyone else will be playing hard to get their "free" win so they do not fall behind the others.
Next up is the CCSCSL Invitational where the aforementioned Zenyuk will not be allowed to play as her lower rating would destroy the GM norm chances.
