The answer was not what I was hoping for, but I understood mods are not perfect and can make mistakes. Nothing surprising, they are humans too, despite sometimes lacking sense of humour.
And then, it happened again. A thread which was remotely related with computers vanished.
Again, ticket, email, blah, blah, sorry for the inconvenience. "It looks like another staff member must have deleted the forum as any discussions of cheating are not allowed in the forums"
Do you think this is a dicussion about cheating?

The fact that ONE user made a comment about cheating (something that happens in half of the threads in this website) does not make it a thread about cheating.
One minute of silence for reading comprehension.
Sadly, all great adventures come to an end. It may happen sooner or later, but everybody knows it is inevitable.
The decandence of the forums is not surprising, as it started a long time ago, but it has recently intensified. Nonsense, repetitive threads, etc (something I have written about many times in the past). But, when I thought the forums could not get any lower, I was proved wrong.
And this time, to my amazement, I could not blame some patzer's ignorance of stalemate. It was a mod's fault. One of my threads had been deleted. Yes, I admit having written inappropriate threads, impersonated staff and other glorious feats. And I was punished for my sins. But this was not the case. It was an innocent thread, a little joke (also the first thread I wrote).
So I submitted a ticket, blah blah blah and received an answer: sorry blah blah blah we cannot get deleted threads back but I acknowledge your thread should not have disappeared...
