resetting time per move

I wish it was possible to reset time per move.  I only realised how important this was after I had been on the site for 8months.  Would it be possible to come up with some sort of formula like for time outs?  I would have played a lot faster had I known about this.  Members with many finished games will find it nearly impossible to reduce the average move time significantly.  Any Ideas?

As you point out, some statistics (e.g. timeout%) have been moved onto a 'last 90 days' basis - which makes it feasible to achieve better marks.

It is certainly challenging to improve your time-per-move having clocked up quite a few games. (TadDude expressed reservations about calculating it on a rolling 90 days basis ... http://www.chess.com/forum/view/tournaments/time-per-move-math).

Using Conditional Moves extensively should help reduce your Time Per Move.
