If you want to get better at chess and not want to let the site spoil every best move during a review, you'd turn this setting to "hide".
But there are 2 main problems:
1 - there is no such setting to turn it off anywhere. It used to be there but for some obscure reason it got removed.
2 - even if you manually hide every best move for every move you've made, during a review when you go back to the beginning of the game ... all the "hide" options are turned back to "show"!...
So in short: there is no way to stop the website from spoiling the best move after you didn't make it yourself and learning at getting better at chess is seriously hampered because of this.
I'd really like to know who made this decision and why they now made this option completely useless ...
You can disable Show Best Moves in settings and the setting sticks unless you clear your cookies.
