Site and Live Chess Feeling Faster?

Friends of Chess.com:

We made some server/network changes today and *seem* to have made some MAJOR improvements. Can you all please let us know if you find the site to be faster? Any notable differences on main site? Any differences on Live Chess?

The pages DO seem to load in a snap now - previously sometimes they took quite some time

EDIT: The whole page including diagrams now load within 0.5-1.25 seconds (approx)!

personally i'm SHOCKED at how much faster. i'm embarrassed at how much faster! it's crazy!

Before it was like using a car but now it is like a jet! 

And how are your bullet games?!

Before the site went down it was REALLY slow but since coming back it has speeded up quite a fair bit now thank you :)

any more feedback? try playing a 1|0 game in live chess!?

Played a lot of 1|0 before and after. It's not a whole lot different. Before the update, I had the impression lag got worse as the number of games went on. That might be lessened. But it may never have been the case. It's still not a very smooth interface for bullet chess compared to some other chess servers. I hope you guys keep up the improvement.

I don't play 1 minute but I shall go try a 2 min game 

Loomis, what browser are you on? Is it slowness in dragging chess pieces? or slowness in some other way? chatting? etc...

This is smokin' fast. Played a 2-1 game and it was VERY responsive. Chat's coming right up on live chess, as well. Woot!

yeah, the last 1/2 hour before it took 15 sec sometimes, now it is like lightning!

Hey Erik, I played some 1 0 games and it appeared to me that they lasted indeed 2 minutes (not 5 like until now). Maybe it's an idea to not allow multiple premoves? I've never seen that elsewhere and in the past the games became frozen in the end, when probably both players were making multiple premoves. Anyway, if you didn't buy more bandwidth, today you had a big improvement in live chess!!

I haven't tried live yet today...

I have just been up and played a few games and the smoothness and speed was awesome!!

I really do not think I have seen it faster than it is right now :))))))
