I can find an opponent for 20+5 or 25+5 within a minute. 30+5 takes 2-3 minutes. My guess is that you would have to wait quite some time for 45+15.
Slow games on "Live Chess"

Thanks again all for your posts!
I heard about FICS, but for the moment I think I will stick to Playchess and to this site - I have to stop creating accounts and start playing! :-)

Hey! I just started a group for those interested in improving their chess by playing slow live games. Check it out!

Hi all.
I would appreciate if anyone who has been here on Chess.com for a while, could share his view about slow games on Live Chess.
In practice, I would like to know if it is reasonably easy to find opponents willing to play at slow pace (like 30/30, 45/15) or if it is plain impossible.
To improve my game, I am trying to focus on slow games, which for the moment I am playing on Playchess.com, but I of course would love to move everything to just one site (for the moment I use this site for Online chess and Vote chess, chesstempo.com for tactics and playchess.com for slow games!)
Thanks in advance for any reply,
Andrea
