Some games are like deliberate suicide chess!??

I have noticed that some opponents you play will play a great game real tight hard battle, then challenge you again & again and the next 2 or 3 games like suicide chess!? an example was I played a 1360 struggled to scrape a draw then he challenges me to another two games from which he gives away pawns for no apparent understanding 🤔 and allows silly knight forks giving away exchanges with no compensations? it gives the impression of your opponent deliberately trying to lose, strange to understand, so I turned down the next few challenges!! has anyone else experienced this strange behavior from any of there opponents?

Good one charity work lol 😆 yes I have had this on chess.com and another site I play on!? had great game tight a curate opening, tough muddle game, games one wants to play!! Then the next 2 games I was exchanges, pawns and odd Bishop up all within first 12 moves!!? Perhaps he was playing in the sauna and steam played a part ;)

That sounds like either the person is sandbagging or they suddenly have to quit and are just suiciding the game. I don't know...

you should see it at a 2000 level i do the same thing but tactics but at 1300 level its charity though attack is the best defense.

it could be sandbagging or cheating i know people who cheated just to brag that they are 1300(they aren't even that good) maybe 500 ish maybe they just decided not to cheat. either that or they like humor and charity.
