Sportsmanship Meter

Hi everyone !

I for one am sick and tired of arrogant players and poor sportsmanship.  I am sure I don't have to explain myself, everyone has played people like this.

Since we have no referees to enforce good sportsmanship, I suggest having a sportsmanship meter.  Have it on the player's profile or even beside the nickname when placing a seek.  A player who has been slandered can go on the offending player's profile and take off points (or give points in the case of good sportsmanship).  Players could then choose not to play members with a low sportsmanship rating.

What do you think ?  (and I hope staff are reading this post)

Thanks !

My friend we agree. I have certainly encountered a few of these infantile

characters. This website is still the best I play on by a large margin but still.....

An annoying new feature I am experiencing is the answered seek for a game but

if I am white they don't move just run down the clock. If I realize by the 1st move

I can abort but the new sport is to make thesecond move and just let the clock

run wasting 15 minutes or you lose if you resign. Mostly these have been lower rated (800-1200), but I have even experienced this with 1400!!

Their loss...chess is fun...losing is instructive even if it is hard for one's ego!!
