I have, long ago, a question to ask, but I do not know if anyone knows the answer: there is a difference of gain or loss score for those who win or lose a game for timeout or mate? Because I already happened to have opponents who have left to lose games on purpose - and that I could prove it was playing more than one game - when they started losing.
I have seen many players when they start losing then they start playing slow and make wait to opponent and in last they lose in time(sometimes the real winner his opponent lose due to circumstances in time). Which is not a sign of good sportsmanship.
The chess.com staff and community have done a good job by making option for time-out % limit in tournaments and even in open invites which makes the game interesting; but still there is not such step taken in team-matches, and sometimes matches becomes one-sided due to time-outs of one team.
I would like to suggest that chess.com staff make option/settings for admin of teams by which they can also limit the player's timeout in any match for joining (eg. if the admin set the timeout ratio at 10% then players having timeout more than 10% will not able to join the match; and there should be minimum limit say as 5% should be for it so that players who lose sometimes by difficult circumstances in time can join the match).
This will make the matches interesting and will discourage the people who lose matches by purpose.
