Texas Flag

If people are using flags from regions like Catalonia, which has never been an independent state, why can't we have a Texas flag?

(If I'm being dumb and there already is one, could someone point out how I might use it?)

No, there aren't any US state flags available.

I suppose you could put it as avatar instead of the French one...

The avatar isn't the point though - there are flags for regions/states like Catalonia, but we can't have one for Texas, which used to be its own country?

If we have a flag for Texas then we have to have one for all 50 states.  Also, since this site has a lot of people from other countries, wouldn't there have to be flags for all the states and provinces of the world?  I believe this would contradict the purpose of the flags which (I think) is to give us an idea of where most members are from. 

By that argument, the flag for Catalonia shouldn't exist...

That "5 RIP" thing i posted was clearly a jab at him rather than a "free the troll" gesture, as was my later comment reiterating the fact that he had created so many personas in such a short amount of time, completely flouting the rules.

True, i enjoyed his contributions here for the most part, but i was never a fan of the troll/multiple-account-holder thing he discovered within himself the last few weeks.

No one is answering the question - if a flag for Catalonia exists, why not one for Texas?  It used to be its own country (unlike Catalonia), it's a constituent state...

You tell us, I have no idea about the States. All I can say about Catalonia, Galicia and Basque Country, though, is they have an special consideration as historical regions here, or something like that.

And that those Galicians should make us pay 1,000 euro every time we visit them, if only because of the food.

Gimme a T for Texas a T for Tennessee! 

Id love to live in Texas, right down near the border, somewhere like El Paso.

I pointed out in there that the "countries" list is not actually composed solely of countries, but never got a reply from staff on that.

There is no Texas flag, because nobody wants to be known as a gun-toting, religious hothead.
