The Alexandra Botez Bot seems a lot stronger than 2100.

I played a couple of games with the Alex Botez bot yesterday (one as white, one as black) where the time control for each game was 10 minutes and the CAPS accuracies in both of her games against me were 95%-96% which suggests a strength of roughly 2500 (400 points higher than what chess.com claims) and the bot only spent like 2 seconds per move.

For those of you who have gotten a chance to play with the Alex Botez bot, did the bot seem to play around 2100 strength when you played against her, weaker than 2100, or stronger than 2100?

That explains how that Matthew and Nathen might be canon. @Gagarin65 Certainly true!

@Gagarin65 does not exist and you're right @WilliamJohnB but my rating is low so I might be wrong.

Oh course, the robots can't be exact rated.

botez bot is like hikaru bot

both are extremely underrated

I definitely agree with the Alex Botez bot being extremely underrated.  Hikaru-Bot, on the other hand, is a different story.  Based on 2 G/10 games I played with Hikaru-Bot (one as white, one as black), Hikaru-Bot played more like a 2300 than the claimed 2750 (thus being overrated by 450 points).

I was 2000 rated at that time, I didn't expect to get super adopted. On the other hand, hikaru-bot did smack hikaru around pretty good.

I actually think Andrea is a better player than Alexandra, in real life (although Alex has played in more official tournaments).

She also loves the King's Indian Defense, so that's a positive! happy.png
