I first joined in August, 2007.
But yeah, looks like @batgirl has got me beat on that by a couple of months.
I tried to look up my old account but it won’t tell me when I joined.
So.. I made an non-playing account to help set up a meeting between Erik and another website owner over an issue of what to name the new opening database and Erik was incredibly flexible, because after the meeting he and his team renamed it Game Explorer instead of Opening Explorer. But I wasn’t a true member at Chess.com until early 2009.

One of the kids said "clearly @andy" after mentioning 100 staff members even though the OP said no staff.
And apparently you didn't even read the title, which says "active" members.
Sometimes I don't even know why I come to this website. At least the kid got 400 downvotes I guess.

Also, apparently, you didn't even read all of the posts because if you did, you would've known he meant @andy-inactive (since he also missed that it needed to be an active member).
Also, "active" does not mean someone who posts all the time. Unless the OP says otherwise, I'd assume he just means an active member, whether a forum poster or not.
