I have played a ew of these games, but on my settings page it says "# of this type game = 0".

Anyone understand whi this is so?

I just changed my settings by uncheckikng the box, it confirmed my setting were updated, yet when I clicked on "Play Now" to start a new game, it gave me another Welcome Game agaisnt an unrated player.

I already am playing 2 of these, and the system keeps matching me with the same unrated player I am already playing. Anyone know a way to get around this?

thanks!

Uncheck the box next to this:

I am willing to play unrated welcome games against new Chess.com members. I will help them understand how to play on Chess.com and answer questions.

And I am also curious about the eye.

Thanks y'all. I did un-check the box on settings , it accepted my update, then it assigned me anyway. I really dno't mind except it kept giving me a game against the same person, whom I was already playing.

Those are no-win scnearios, you get no points for winning, if they are really inexperienced it's ok although ususlly not as good a game, but if they are sandbagging or are just new members but experienced and they win you lose a ton of points.

My eyelid won't blink because I have a brain tumor and when they tried to remove it they cut some nerves and paralyzed my face. it's getting better, I have been wearing the patch for 6 years or so.

actually, I am an actor and had an ongoing part as the Pirate CAptain Calico Jack, so I wore a patch on that eye before I had the surgery 4 times a week. It kind of worked out perfect (good thing I wasn't a pirte with a hook or peg leg though!)

When a captain with an eye patch issues an order, does the crew say "aye" just once?
