On your home down your avatar you can see the three options there
View own profile quickly

If you actually clicked on "profile" it would lead you to the "edit profile" page, not your "profile" page. Of course I already tried that...

Whatever does narcissism have to do with it? I just wanna leave notes and check when someone is accepting my friend request and could play a game with me. Stop judging, troll.
Many people view their own profile in the forum which I'm the most active in anyway...

You're right Changgi, 'Profile' doesn't always mean the same thing! I had exactly the same problem when I started on this site.
The 'Profile' button you need to click on is on your Home page & looks like this...
To get to your Home page, just click on 'Home' (top right-hand corner of any page). I have the URL on my favorites bar for quick linking.
Good luck & hope that works.
Edit: By 'Home' page, I refer to your chess.com Home page which anyone can access by clicking on 'Home' at the top right-hand of any page!

nyLsel, how come you have an additional 'E-Mail' button on your home page because I havn't got that ?
You show it below 'Messages'.

You can have it if you put it here:
- Contact Email:clarkperez41@yahoo.com (change email)
- Chess.com Email:clark_perez12@chess.com(Want to add POPmail and more storage? Click here!)
- This can be seen if you edit your profile.

First go to edit profile and you can see it:
- Contact Email:clarkperez41@yahoo.com (change email)
- Chess.com Email:clark_perez12@chess.com(Want to add POPmail and more storage? Click here!)

Thanks for explaining that nyLsel but it's not an option I have!
I think it's an optional feature only for those members who joined before a certain date? When I look at my Edit-Profile page, I can only see my principle e-mail address because I've never had a chess.com one & I seem to remember reading that the site no longer provides new addresses.
I remember that I was never offered one.
Actually is there a simple way to go to one's own profile? Cause what I do now is usually go to the forums and then click on my own name from the forum posts. The quickest way, which I literally just discovered, is to go to my "blog" and then click on my username. So is there any more direct method? Also, I get notified every time I get a new note on my profile accordong to the default settings, right?
Sorry I'm still such a noob...
