As a Greeter, yes you will experience many who don't play after the first move... or who don't come back .. it happens :(
Many don't realise there is a difference between turn based and live chess. Some feel they have to accept their greeter game before they can explore the site.
Others log in, accept the game, explore the site, log off and forget about it.
It can be frustrating i know, but persevere :) When we first added these, I was one of the first greeters. I had so many that, like yours, either didn't play, or made one move only .. but then after a while i had one game
the guy completely wiped the floor with me. He turned out to be a GM :)
Occassionally you will get members who do play, who will excel on the site and will remain on the site for a long time .. this will be thanks to you! It makes being a greeter worthwhile :)

when i joined i played the whole game against the greeter and we chat

Ok, so I decided to voluntier for some of this welcome games. Which I understand is some atemp to mentoring into chess.com
The problem is most of the games time out whiout the other person moving, I don't have ideas to efectibly comunicate with the other person. So the design is no working or I am missing something becouse they don't answer chats on the game, I doub they even see the board.
What I'm sopouse to do in this case?
