Hello flacyclingnut, I am in DowntownWPB and have been working on the idea of putting some tables out across the street from Johans Joe Cafe on Fern and Dixie (not sure if you are familiar with the area) to be able to get people to meet up for in-person chess games. Let me know if you are interested in something like this?

Hello Choppie3, you have no idea - there is now not only an official Chess Park at the corner of Fern Street and Dixie Highway in downtown West Palm Beach (across from Johan's Joe and Meraki). Now there is a club called West Palm Street Chess and they play Saturday nights on Clematis in front of Lost Weekends, Sundays during the day at the Chess Park, and Mondays in downtown Lake Worth, I believe in front of Brogues. We have an event coming up on March 8 for people who want to learn to play chess too. I hope this inspires you to come out and join us.
