what do you when someone abuses you?

I know it is against the site rules. Its common sense. These guys keep breaking these rules against me, by posting on my wall, which everybody can read. What is the website doing about that? Why shouldn't I break the rules for this? One time, two time three time four time too many.

If someone is abusive, you can report them by using the "Report" button on their profile:
Alternatively, you can use this link: https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new
Or select Report Abuse under the Help menu.
Chess.com takes abuse seriously. However, given the number of members, it's simply not possible to have staff and moderators everywhere. So some things can only be addressed if they're reported.

I know I can delete it. But what if I'm offline for a week, how many people will view it? Yes, I am that 'offended' that I've had this up for 27hours. Nobody is interested in actually talking about a solution.

You don't seem to realize the fact that something like this could have been on my wall for a week. Before I first read it.

You really need to read my post carefully again. Because everything you are saying one by one had already been addressed in the post.

Yeah i do that too. I didn't mean end up with an argument with involved and active members of this community. I apologise for the same.

The solution is to report the people who do this. You can block them too if you want. There is an auto-mod that catches a lot of the more offensive notes people might leave you, but it's not hard to circumvent if someone is determined to be a jerk.

please tell me how you guys deal with this.
Change your settings so strangers can't post on your wall.

The first two options in that link are:
"Send and Recieve Messages"
"May Post/View My Notes"
For both of them select "Only my friends"
For live games

Under the option "Game Chat"
Select: "Nobody"

Some common sense advice from Rotting Horseflesh.
I prefer pregnant horse meat.
Hows 'bout...Bloated Equus caballus
Some pretty fancy horse stuff out there.
I disable game chat habitually, but I don't restrict my notes or messages...
I find that if you don't say anything to them, they very rarely say anything to you.
But that's just been my experience. Maybe some people are unlucky and get rants (?)
I play on my cell phone, I've had three or four occasions where I get an email called 'alert' from chess.com; I open them on my phone browser, and behold, guys I recently beat have left an abusive message on my wall. I find there is no way to reply to them because they have already blocked me. It's very annoying that there is nothing I can do about this. Look at this guy in screen shot, he didn't use severe language like most cases, but the sentiment matters.

If someone knows this [Name removed - please don't make public accusations - MOD] please tell him to unblock me so I can find out what is his problem. More importantly, please tell me how you guys deal with this. It's one thing when people abuse you on messages, but to leave notes on my wall? Which could be on there for days without me ever knowing. The guy below him "Naepo" had a problem with me, but he didn't block me, we talked and became friends.
I understand if this very petty for you all, but I urge you to consider this seriously.
