What has happened to 'Open Challenges'?

Has the option to pick an opponent been removed with the latest update? If so, why?

No. It's still there.

I don't know why  you don't see it. Are you using a mobile browser in place of a full sized browser?

I do notice that you have only played a handful of live games. Perhaps that has something to do with it.

At any rate, why not just use the "Play" button? The "open challenges" usually only include people looking for weird time controls, variants and computer games these days.

 I don't have much time this year for live games and have preferred games of 3 days or more per move. Perhaps in 2018... anyway thanks.

If you click on the "10 min" button, you should see a list of Daily time controls. Select one and you should see an "Open Challenges" button for Daily games.

Thanks. I'm not sure what happened (maybe it was my error or a temporary glitch) but the problem went away. Open Challenges reappeared soon after I posted in its usual position (as a link third item down under the Play button.

I had the same problem, and a lot of other Chess.com functions disappeared for me around the same time.  Now they are restored, so there must have been some technical glitch on the provider's side.

Cannot play any friends because I have more than two challenges waiting. Only way I can get rid of new challenges waiting just to accept and then abort. Before I can play anybody I have another 8 to 15 noy asked for challenges?
