Can't believe that he wouldn't tell in the conference? Why?
Who were Carlsen's seconds?

He revealed the name, again, of norwegian GM Jon Ludvig Hammer. In norwegian broadcasting they`ve said Carlsen has focused more on having people around him that puts him in the right mood/frame of mind, rather than their chess strength/ELO rating. Hammer fits the bill as he has been a friend of Carlsen for years already. He probably had more help than just Hammer, only time will tell if he reveals who that might have been.

Fressinet is a good friend of Carlsen. He is France number 3 and usually plays for France in team events, but he has not played during the European Team Championship.
Some time ago there was a rumor that he was seconding Carlsen. I think it seems likely.
Nepomniatchi used to be Carlsen's second. I don't know if it's still the case, but he was not playing in the ETC either.

I noticed in this game someone commented that the line was previously played in a Fressinet game. Funnily enough, maybe even Fressinet-Nepo.

There is a nice video on youtube where Carlsen is blitzing with Fressinet and taunting him in what seems to be his spare time. Watch 'too weak too slow' :)

if thats the case 3 people can be named. John Ludvig Hammer, Simen Agdestein and Peter H. Nelson

No, Peter Nielsen didn't help Carlsen during the match, as he had been working as Anand's second for a long time. He remained neutral.

I think he did help him for the Candidates tournament, but not for the WC match. Now, Magnus may have had the opportunity to use some of Nielsen's ideas in the WC match nonetheless.
