I would need to visit at least three or four other chess sites to even come close to the range of features and activities available on chess.com - and none of them would be as much fun.
As I expressed in a personal note to Erik when we played a game against each other many months ago, what I love most about chess.com--beyond its impressive fulsomeness of features--is that it is a real online community. Where else, for example, could I engage in a long discussion about who are the 100 greatest chess players of all-time with the likes of batgirl, Bill Wall, likesforest, and many others? My pleasures with chess.com have been such that I have finally paid for a membership, not because I need the extra features and benefits that entails, but in recognition of more than a year of good value received. The year membership is my Christmas present to myself this year, and it is also my Christmas present to Erik and to chess.com.
We don't like Chess.com. We LOVE it!

Chess.com offers features no other sites does (tournaments, blogs, team matches, tactics trainer) As a chess enthusiast, everything I need is here!.
