Why Does @hikaru Have 2 Accounts?

I believe Hikaru uses the second account to play rated games against subscribers of his Twitch channel. A loss on his main account could significantly drop him on the leaderboard.

I thought it is against chess.com rules to have more than 1 account

i think so too, they probably made an exception for @Hikaru (unless it's not a rule)

Titled players are permitted to open one main (public account) and one anonymous (secret) account, as it becomes more important at that level to conceal one's opening preparation. Popular chess personalities (such as Hikaru) are allowed to open as many accounts as they want (as long as chess.com approves) for various reasons.
