Why Don't Titled Players Talk Much On Chess.Com?

every titled player I reached out to responded... One even reached out to me.
so maybe you just are trying for the really famous ones like hikaru

That could explain it...
Why? I've always wondered why Titled players don't interact much with users on Chess.com. I know they stream, some post blogs, but still. Is it because they mainly play games on cc? Please respond if anyone has ideas.
Well because most of the Title players here are for "CHESS" not for interaction .

I'm far from titled myself, but I have a few ideas why you may not see as much activity by titled players:
(in no particular order, but numbered just for organization)
1. There are so few titled players out there!
chess.com is the largest chess site in the world, but out of all who play chess ALL Grandmasters and International Masters (GMs and IMs) COMBINED make up less than 1% of all chess players. There are many more players rated say 1200-ish because that is closer to "average" globally speaking. This could explain why forum threads seldom have titled players responding - it isn't that they are gone or inactive; it is just that there are so many more non-titled players
2. Maybe titled players are less likely to be active in chatting and chess.com clubs or forum threads etc. because they are more likely to be constantly working on their own chess. It is no secret that that super high level of chess takes time, effort and experience and this is all demanding and time-consuming, so perhaps titled players simply have less time to interact with the chess community than chess hobbyists.
3. "unofficial" accounts like @anayaxjain says because titled players on chess.com are allowed to have a public account with their official chess title, but can also get a second "secret" account if they get permission from chess.com staff. Unlikely normal non-titled players, the titled chess players are almost like chess celebrities and they might not want to attention all the time. Furthermore, they may want an anonymous account where they can experiment with different openings and such without their in-person opponents studying what they've been trying online.
It is possible that titled players are more active than we think, but simply using their official account with the title for more "official" posts and just use their secret account for answering forum threads and so on.
These are some of my attempts to explain it

well only like some teenage titled players talk here but otherwise its super rare to see any other titled players talk as they dont really see it as worth of their time or well they just came here for what they want which is to play chess and nothing else. like some other user stated maybe if money were to happen then they probably would negotiate and talk but again its just mostly cause titled players have their own businesses and have to do important things

Yes. I haven't observed the famous people chat. They just play...

Otherwise, sure! I've seen MANY people being active!

At just 2040 rating or so it's top 99.9% rapid, so 1/1000. Titled players are very good, and significantly rarer.
Besides that... these forums don't seem to attract the most intelligent people.
titled players dont use this as social site..its also awkard to me to use this as a social site..but this became one to me recently ..
but they have whatsapp, instagram , facebook , twitter , youtube , discord, snapchat, tinder ,twitch and so many other platforms to talk and socialise ..they only play chess here and i agree with it ..

all it takes is just one word from a super IM or grandmaster well known here among the best and the whole community goes crazy over it as if they were meeting a hero. its sweet in my opinion but i just like pointing that out cause it rlly just shows that even some high ranked bullet or blitz players always lurk around here and do pay attention to what happens, its nice to see them just liking people making compliments and just wanting to make others happy

Because relatively to them, we talk nonsense, and the same nonsense, and it's boring for them.
When I make a thread with a normal headline, they do come:
https://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-openings/please-help-me-unbore-the-nimzo-indian?page=2
Two NMs have responded.
Especially when I write the word "help" or "question" or "please", in the headline.
But just reading and responding to nonsense of every amature on earth.. even amatures won't respond to the nonsense of other amatures, why Would they?
