Why is Chess.coms engine analysis so behind?

I've gotten premium for the free analysis and puzzles, but recently I've been wondering why analyzing is only using Stockfish 11 and takes so long? For example, on Lichess, which is what I've been using for extra deeper analysis, I can get up to depth 35 on a move in like 20 seconds while here it takes like a minute to get to depth 22. In addition, their software has Stockfish 14 as the main engine source. I swear I remember Stockfish 15 on this site before, maybe I'm wrong. Is this just cause of the server overload and is Chess.com going to update this eventually while they fix traffic problems? Or is this the best we'll get for the foreseeable future.

This is not a diss at Chess.com or any lichess supremacy thing btw, as I much prefer this site. Just a general question that's been bugging me.

Stockfish 15 had to be temporarily removed due to a bug introduced when version 109 of Chrome was released that cause crashes while spectating and after games.

Staff is working on getting it released again.

As to how fast it is, it runs in the browser so is limited by the client side

Alright, that makes sense, but why go down to 11?

Because 11 was the previous version the site had implemented and the development time was better spent fixing the issue instead of trying to implement another different version too. Plus, right around the time it started happening is when the site load was going up and most development work was being directed to site stability issues.

You can also use Komodo. I've been playing with that for a while. its much more indecisive/positional. its interesting. I forget how i switched it. some of Ch.coms interfaces are clunky
