Wish list item: Guess the next move

I would love to see a "Guess the Next Move" application here at Chess.com

Replaying Master games is a great way to learn and I think the "Guess the Next Move" format makes it even better to replay master games.

It would be great if the results from the replaying quiz could be evaluated on a pseudo ELO scale. That could be easily achived using test results and some basic linear regression.

Not to advertise a competing site, but try www.improveyourchess.com - their "How good is your chess?" feature is doing exactly what you are after, and they have no competitors on the market, in my view...

Looking forward to chess.com implementing something like this, parallel to chess mentor... :-)

I really like guess-the-move (or solitaire chess as Pandolfini calls it) training. And it would indeed be a great addition to Chess.com. It's almost 2011 now, staff... Don't you think it is about time this post gets noticed?

We wan't guess-the-move training!
