We should make a group of people who have been invited to detention, it would quickly dwarf Chess Unlimited.
You're kidding me...right?

This is a chess site, right?
Anyway, is it difficult to incur the wrath of Windows-7 ? Please tell me that you friendly folks here at chess.com are NOT picking on a mentally challenged person.

I don't get why anybody would join it. An empty "detention" group would make a powerful statement to Windows; kids hate it when people ignore them in that way.

The dudes a troll, he has 1000 people blocked and 0 people like him.. Do what i did and join the detention and make fun of him.

Or better yet, clear the detention group and let him qq to himself, and maybe he'd qq on the forums. Besides, the best known antidote to a troll is to ignore it.

Betcha it was from oinquarki...
No, the link from the person's username is still there.
Really the only people in detention are there to just mess around, so don't take it seriously.

I figured that since he's hilarious enough and close enough to being considered normal (by child psychiatric standards) that it outweighs it being morally wrong.

Maybe you should start a "Members Who Want Windows7 Banned" group?
Hate is never the answer.

(Fortunately/Unfortunately), he's not a troll in the real sense. He really believes that everything he is saying is logical and is simply a mentally off kid.

I think we have a different definition of hate. I feel no warmth or fuzziness inside. (Last time that happenned it turned out I had to have surgery to get rid of a cat I had accidentally eaten, but I won't get into that.) Just from a logical perspective, hating people seems to me like a pointless thing to do. Violence can very well be an answer in some cases.

"Morally wrong"? Jeez, look who's Socrates...
I don't really believe in morals. It's just what I call that little voice in my head which has been imprinted into me since shildhood. Morals are just a cheap way of getting people to be more altruistic. The very existense of morals is morally wrong, it being a form of brainwashing, but still very useful to society. No crude generalizations such as that little voice however, can replace reason.

No, that wasn't my point. Just a "Members Who Want Windows7 Banned" group sounds far too much like some stupid thing a small high school clique would do on myspace or facebook or whatever to express their hatred of a somebody they think is a jerk.
As for his detention group, people just join it to mess with him and make sarcastic remarks about stuff.

I hang around in Detention but I sure don't defend it as a mature thing to do. I say go ahead and form a group, then flood our block happy friend with invitations to your group. Or challenge his group to a game or something.

But I would kill Hitler not because I hate him, but because he deserves it.
Oh I like that. I really agree with this sentiment but have never really been able to put into words as you have. Well done sir. Extra spam with your eggs, no charge.

I got it then!! We shall make a religion completly based off windows 7's infinite knowledge. That doesn't sound stupid at all! (Kidding)

......Alright i'm 100% aware i can block from recieving these invitations but i just have a few things to say about this one in particular.
(i'm not trying to attack nor troll this is simply my opinion if anybody finds this offensive i will take it down)
1.If i cared about being blocked by windows 7 enough to throw myself into his imaginary detention i would do so myself, i don't need these silly messages thrown at me.
2.If the person who sent me this invite paid any attention to my forum posts, they would know i am strictly against windows 7.
Overall message, these detention invites are ridiculas if we care enough to beg his forgiveness in his imaginary pixel detention, we'll do it.
