This is why I need endgame practice! If this doesn't show you how bad at endgames I am, I dunno what will.

Games where you are up a rook and a knight and you have a tremendous mating attack against a wide open king are not usually called "endgames." You obviously played the first part of the game quite well to get such great position, but then you fell apart. Were you very short of time?

One thing that would have helped was to play 26 Qh8 mate! Checkmate is the best way to solve endgame problems. You also missed a nice little combination: 29.Rxe4 Qxe4 30. Ng5+ forking king and queen. So I don't think your problem is related to the endgame. Missing middlegame tactics are your problem. They're almost everybody's problem!

Yeah...

I can never find checkmates! Even with 5 pieces attacking the king, I still cant find them!

(as @Laskernephew said) Not being able to checkmate is not part of the endgame phase or of any phase of the game. You either lack visualization skills or you are mentally lazy which you hide behind playing too fast. Solve tons of middlegame puzzles while training to look ahead and see the checkmate coming rather than accidentally bumping into it. In training accuracy is more important than speed and you only accelerate when you comfortably find the checkmates in a lower gear.

I mentioned this in another post, but I have ADHD. So I kinda tend to not think about moves sometimes. It is a bit hard for me to visualize as well.

When picking a game, pick one that resonates with your ADHD. Chess is by nature a slow game and only works for you if you use it to control your impulses by playing slow. To let out energy, it is more effective to play a physical game.

I'm definitely no expert, but I think chess is a good place to work on your concentration and attention problems. In the wonderful documentary "Brooklyn Castle," one of the story lines concerns a young man with an Attention Deficit disorder, and his struggle to become a good chess player. I think you might find some real inspiration there

I noticed I'm MUCH better when playing on a real board. In a school tournament a few weeks ago, I crushed an 1000 Rapid. I guess because it's in 3d I can comprehend and control more of the board. But in 2d, it makes it a lot harder to visualize. Perhaps I should change my chess.com board o be 3d instead?

Here's an important checkmate pattern with the 2 queens to take note of, which will usually occur before the ladder mate:
