Is it possible for a chancellor (rook/knight combo) to force a win against an archbishop (bishop/knight combo) in most cases?

Usually, a chancellor is better than an archbishop because a chancellor worth 1~2 more points than compare to an archbishop but, depend on position, archbishop can be stronger sometime.

Arisktotle

It's commonly a draw. The chancellor may strike luck with for instance a skewer but these are special cases that commonly do not occur outside the realm of endgame studies.

Winning with the archbishop is practically impossible since even losing the rook without compensation keeps the draw in almost all cases.

The smallest point margin for a general win without pawns is probably R+B vs 2N. (2 points). This was only discovered in the 21st century with the help of the computerized endgame tablebases covering all endgames up to 7 pieces.
