I developed a free Android app to practice endgames by playing against a computer. The app has a few different categories to practice on - against a lone king, rook endgames, queen endgames, and some various studies. The positions are randomly generated (use the 'Next' button) so it's an endless amount of scenarios. Let me know what you think and if there is anything I should add.
Its' a wonderful app; I really like it. But the Vegas-style glitzy-blinking ads are CRAZY-MAKING!!! I'd be willing to lay out some fairly big bucks to make them go away. I don't see that option. I've tried covering them with adhesive tape, (which works for other apps,) but somehow this one seems to sense the fix and hangs, forcíng me to restart, when the MOTION-BLINKING-BANNER in my face again. Imagine having to put up with that at a tournament! If there's no way to loose the ads, the app gets trashed, which would REALLY be too bad. I would PAY for this! Can you help? Sincerely, apx 2000.
