Drawing numbers on the chessboard

I'm not sure what you mean.
I know algebraic notation (writing my moves down on paper and reading it after the game), but I'm looking for chess software which can draw numbers (and letters) on the squares.
For example software which can place the number "1" or "2b" inside the e4-square etc. See this link (the 2nd diagram from above):

I've seen numbers drawn on chessboard squares in books and on internet sites (showing corresponding squares and other stuff). I want to do it myself.
Does anyone know what kind of software can do this?
