That's supposed to be a bull. You are mixing up idioms (elephant in the room).

In most languages other than english the "bull" is an "elephant". I assume that - on a scale of 1 to 10 - the destruction caused by both animals would reach the highest scoring category.

"BULL" in chess-zoology?? meh.png

Arisktotle

Why not? Wall street has a "BULL" market.

Illbtu

That was "Bullish" my friend! grin.png

I mean there are elephants in chess, now we call them “bishops”, I guess that comes from the “clergical” power Lord Ganesh exerts over chess-universe, since chess comes from India and even in Persian “Fiil” stands for the piece we call “BISHOP”. There is horse that stands for the “Knight”. But there are no bulls … wait a minute bull… sh....op… hey there… that stands for “B I S H O P”!!! wink.png

I solved it. The key is to ignore the pawn on c5 and go straight for gaining the direct opposition. Then black is eventually forced to let white have g7 by abandoning it or move the c pawn, etc.
