At move 6, the difference is that the bishop on g3 couldn't be attacked from this direction when it was on h2. Bc5 was a waiting move. The order of these seemingly circular bishop moves needs to be accurate to force the black bishop off the diagonal when the pawn has room to promote. Too me a while to fully understand the logic here after reading it in my book.
