Knights Endgame

I played this game recently and ended up in the position shown in the diagram. I was playing as white. I lost the game but felt I should have won. Given perfect play, who is expected to win the game from this position? How would he/she go about it?

Nytik

White should be able to win this one, but it would be a long, arduous process. Firstly, the white king must go over to the kingside, to prevent the g-pawn queening. Next, white should seek to trade off black's c-pawn for his b-pawn. The two connected passers should be enough to force a win.

Thanks Nytik. Do you or anyone else know of a high power tablebase on the Internet? I know of Shredder but that only allows for six pieces.

In a knight endgame with a passed pawn, the knight must gain control of the squares in front of the pawn.

I can't tell you much else because I don't know who won and there aren't any moves to play out on that game. :P
