Go to the Chess Mentor courses "Endings, Openings, Taste of the Middle" or "Pawn Endings: Beginner to Expert" There you will find copius information on the opposition.

I believe its the person who does NOT have the move next HAS the oposition.
Ie... if you have the two kings on the same file 1 square apart. The king that does NOT have the move has the Oposition. The reason i believe that, is because, where ever the other king goes you can move and counter it.
