Tablebases

You are not exactly following the argument, monsieur. If in a won endgame, say R+P vs R I use the tablebase to make precise moves to arrive at a draw how is chess.com gonna accuse me of cheating?

This is a different question.
The rules forbide the use of tablebases. How chess.com is going to catch you if you don't respect the rules and cheat is their business

All I'm saying is if there is only one way to win an endgame (a certain mating pattern, like 2 bishops) does it matter whether I sweat over it or just use the tablebase? The end result will be the same. I am expected to win after all :)
(well there is a chance I may miscalculate and end in a stalemate, while the tablebase is 100% accurate).

Tablebases are flat out not allowed. (Reason: they are derived 100% from engine use, and are 100% accurate.)
Now, if you happen to be in a position where you know the winning method, and play it, it is allowed. If you use a tablebase to play that same series of moves, it is not allowed.
How the site differentiates between the two is their issue.

They won't tell you, and they won't accuse you at all- they will just disable your account.

That would leave azatartsakh disheveled, disheartened, disappointed, disillusioned. And, finally chess.com would have just dissed him

I guess it really depends if there's one winning method or multiple. Or whether there's a winning plan or illogical only moves.

Yeah it's cheating, but that's already been said. I was really referring to the question of identification.

tablebases are bacically a computer no idea why this forum was made
You can get an idea by reading elaborated posts above.
There are definitely players cheating with tablebases at low levels. You know as soon as they start making instant moves once there are 5-7 pieces left on the board and they're down -10 material and they're all perfect. I suck at endgames so it's like 50/50 chances for me at that point.
I just look at it as good training, but it is in fact complete BS and probably totally detectable.
I know using engines is serious cheating but are we allowed to use Nalimov's tablebases to determine win/draw in a totally reduced endgame?
