The ideal position for each piece on the board. Why or why not?

I argue there is nowhere black can place its pieces that will win, or draw, in response to this starting position of white.

And therefore, this is the ideal place for each piece on the board. There are several variations of this core structure.

Of course, I don't know. Would this be right or wrong?

This orientation may or may not be right, like I said, variations: (bishops on file, or queen-king on file), but I imagine this arrangement being very close to the truth.

After just thinking about it, I realized black could promote pawns to queens. This is about endgame though, but perhaps a less relevant variation of this example as it pertains to pregames is...

What I mean to say is, I hope you are getting my point that this is about endgames and not pregames...though I wonder if this arrangement of white in beatable by black pregame by any simulation?

Asking a "weird" question does not require a "weird' chess position. The least you can do is place the white pieces in such a way that the position is legal after you add some black pieces - including the black king of course. Nobody knows how pawns on the 1st or 8th rank move; they might even be capable of eating their own king anywhere in a 6 square circle!
