1000 Elo

Is a 1000 elo good for just starting? I played chess when I was a kid but haven’t played more than a dozen games in the last ten years. I just downloaded the app today and have played 25ish games. I’m currently just over 1000 elo (1013 I think) with any given game moving my elo around 10 points. Anyway, I remember some girl who competed in the chess twitch event spent like a year to hit 1000 elo. So is 1000 elo good to start or was she just not that great. Thanks.

Every journey begins with a single step and we don't all start or finish in the same place.
Ratings aren't important because it's just a reflection of where you are currently. In the end your decisions determine how far you'll go.
