How much time do you spend per puzzle? How much time per move do you spend when playing? The time per move playing should be longer than the time per puzzle, as in the puzzle you know there is a tactic while in a game you do not know and you have to assume there is one.
1900 Puzzle 900 Blitz

From what i see, the problem that when you take your time you get the tactic correct. But when you dont take your time, you get it wrong. Now throw in a steady diet of speed chess and you have your answer.

Can someone point me in the right direction to what I should be practicing if I can reach 1900 in puzzles but can even reach 1000 in blitz, I know that puzzle rating shouldn't be the same as blitz but I don't think it should be 1000 points apart.
You and I are in the same boat, I would not sweat over it.
The good news is you have the potential to identify tactics. The down side is obviously not processing fast enough in a blitz format. Honestly, stick to rapid and you will improve. That is what I have been told by a coach. If you still need to experiment or test out new things, go 5/5 blitz which is essentially rapid play in disguise. This way you’re blitz score will take a hit and you’re rapid scoring will be reserved for serious play.
Great job on the puzzles rating by the way and keep them going!
Good answers. Tactics also flow from a position where the pieces are actively placed, threatening exchanges (tension in the position). Look at the type of positions you have or style of play. If it is too passive or you dont hold tension, by exchanging straight away, you wont create as many opportunities for tactics to come up.

blitz and puzzles dont have much in common. You can spend several minutes on a single position when you do tactics, while you have several minutes to play the entire game in blitz. Also, everybody who does puzzles regurarly has a much higher puzzles rating then blitz rating. My blitz rating is 1700, while my puzzles rating is above 2200 and it is still going up (I dont have premium account so I only play few puzzles in a row when I do them and I do them not more then once or twice a week. If I was doing puzzles more often my puzzle rating would be much higher). If your concern is that you are not spotting the same tactics in actual games that you are spotting in the puzzles, I suggest you to play 45+45 games if you have enough time, or atleast start playing 15+10 games. Also, don't forget that tactics is just one part of the game of chess and also, finding tactics for your opponent and preventing them is just as important as finding tactics for yourself.

per puzzle I spend about 30 sec-2 min. time per move is I sec-10 sec

Play slower chess. The way I see it, better players, especially masters, have thousands of games of experience meaning they recognise positions quickly. We noobs cant do that, but with a puzzle or slower chess we can often figure out what to do next and next time we see that position we will move quicker.
