Blundering

count the pieces? like one two or three attacking squares here and there everywhere right board left board etc
Blunder check before you move. Think about your move. Do not play your intended move, but imagine it played on the board. Then check it is no blunder, does not hang any piece or pawn, does not run into checkmate. Only then play it.

I recently lost a game by making two blunders that is actually comical.
I was attacking my opponent with my queen. Had him defending in a corner. So, I follow up with a rook to his back rank do add a check. He captures the rook with is bishop. Blunder number one. Okay, that happens. The bishops can be hard to see. He slides his bishop back to around the center.
Then what do I do a few moves after? Blunder number two. I move my other rook to the same square and his same takes my other rook .
After I got over the kicking myself for such bad play, it's actually embarrassingly funny.
