Im just beginning to learn. I understand it takes a considerable amount of time learning strategy and little nuances.

Im beginning to experience a little burnout - I wonder what tips or advice others may have?

I've run into this since coming back and forced myself to take a few days off from chess. Seems to have helped honestly. I usually play real people but decided to give the Beth Harmon bot (at 800 rating) a try and beat her.

Yeh, I am currently going through a burnout for the past week! My tactics have just gone out the window and I'm rushing my moves in rapid games. Soooo far what I've found to be helpful is to take a break from the chessboard, as dull/ counterproductive as it may sound it's the best thing to do to give yourself some space for your mind to just take a break, maybe reading or playing another game to take your mind off of chess for a couple of days. Then start to ease yourself back in with a few puzzles, warm-up against the bots and then go back into live games.

That's what I've been doing, just got back into live games and it felt good, I was taking my time with moves and not being so hard on myself.

I hope this helps.

slow down or stop for a short time.  Or lay off the analysis and study and just play a few light games, try to apply what you know so far.
